It's wonderful that my case has been longer in the queue than the reign of King Edward V of England

Or maybe they just decided to take a late summer vacationSo there is no draw since 24th july ... Draw was supposed to come yesterday... Maybe they are delaying invitations to clear backlogs
Wow! SithLord for President!!!I actually wrote to his office showing concern for the backlogs of 2018 applicants and how 2019 cases are being processed faster. I never expected his office would reply.
@SithLord you are back! What have you been up to?Or maybe they just decided to take a late summer vacation
Moved on with my life lol@SithLord you are back! What have you been up to?
I finally got PPR and landed but I come back regularly to check if you got PPR

Funny fact, my son's Visitor Record in Canada expired, and I needed to apply for an extension. I could not imagine that I will have to do it, because I applied for EE more than 9 months ago, long before his Visitor Record expires. But it's not the problem.Moved on with my life lol
Congrats!! That's great know your journey has ended wooohooo
I am completing 3 months tomorrow since my case was last touched. I don't know if PPR is coming anytime soon.

The Office of the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, received your correspondence of June 28, 2019, regarding your application for permanent residence. I have been asked to respond to your concerns.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) understands that those who have submitted their applications look forward to a decision being rendered within a reasonable time period after applying. IRCC makes every effort to manage the applications received in the most efficient and effective way. However, the many steps involved in processing an application, coupled with the volume of applications, sometimes make it difficult to conclude cases in as timely a manner as the Department or the client would like.
Processing times listed on IRCC’s Website are published to give applicants a general idea of how long an application process may take. These times are estimates based on how long the Department expects most applications to take under normal circumstances if they apply today.
IRCC records confirm that your application for permanent residence is being actively processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, and that this application is currently in queue to be reviewed by immigration officials. While I am unable to provide a precise timeframe for the completion of this application, please be assured that you will be contacted should additional information or documentation be required, or once a final decision has been made.
Thank you for taking the time to write.
Sincerely,
P. Rivard
Ministerial Enquiries Division
