As far as I can tell, the officer will decide. My medical exam is valid for another 2 months only and I agree that's it's pretty expensive to re-take it, but unfortunately this is another case of "all we can do is wait"...Guys, I have a question...
I read in a different forum that the CIC can request medicals to be re-done once it's 3 months or less from its expiration date. How true is that? I know a lot of you have been requested to re-do it, so I was wondering what the timelines were. Cause as far as I know, given our AORs, we should all be close to reaching that point, and 3 months prior to expiration seems like a bit of an exaggeration to me.
I'm exactly at that point today (3 months till my medicals expire), and there's still no sign of movement in my application. I'm super worried they'll end up asking me to re-do it and then there goes another 1,000 dollars nearly (it's me plus my fiancé, the first time we spent U$ 800).
Also, I've read that some people get it extended. Does the officer just decide to extend it or do you have to request it somehow?
Thanks in advance!!!
