Hello!

How do I request to reschedule oath ceremony?

I feel forgotten. I got DM in Apr and invite to attend ceremony in Sept but I could not be able to attend so I requested a reschedule in good time. I am in the dark and not sure how longer to wait.

Could anyone let me know if there is a way to call and get an estimate? It is clocking 1 year.

I tried using the form but the mention they will route my query.

Any insight?

Hello my friends,

I applied for Canadian citizenship in Nov 14th, 2017, I did my test in 30 April 2018. My status still is in progress and it is now exactly one year passed. Does anyone have similar situation? It took really long time since I did my test.
Thank you all,

He said everything is ok, but background check is still pending. but 7 months has passed since that time. Background check should not be not done by now?

For people who applied for passpors if you choose the ordinary time it says it takes 10 days
But how much time does it it actually take?someone said it takes 3 days ( on the ordinary not the urgent)
The reason why I am asking is that they told me to expect oath in December, and I wanted to travel during the holidays and they take the pr card and if I don’t have the passport I won’t be able to come back
Any advice?

I applied on a Thursday a/n, regular application, and received mine on next Tuesday. PPO*-Mississauga.

*Ps.: Don't ever apply thru Service Canada offices, or via Canada Post.
