Updated. Congrats!!

You both will have to do Oath same time in the ceremony room. You can take the baby in the ceremony room. As long as baby is not crying a lot, you should be ok. Even if baby is crying, one person can take baby out of room. They will announce that. And during oath, just bring the baby and have Oath in 10 minutes (including signatures and receiving certificate). People sometimes give baby 0.5 ml of liquid Tylenol and that makes baby sleepy. It is highly recommended if travelling by Air on long flights with babies. I gave Tylenol to my baby during travel to India. No harm and sometimes doctors also say you can give some Tylenol to baby if baby has cold/ cough and Tylenol makes baby sleep.

Note: Do NOT make it a regular practice. But one in a while or so, should not make a difference to baby's health.
Thanks so much for detailed answer sir :)
Appreciate it

Yes, you can take your 1yo ~ BUT s/he will have to remain outside the ceremony room in the care of a family attendant. Secondly, since you and your wife most likely have applied as one family unit ~ both of you will be attending the Oath ceremony together, concurrently, at the same moment.
Thanks :)

Congrats. No one here can tell for sure that what kind of checks are still pending. So I would suggest you focus on preparation of Test and let IRCC do there job. For Mississauga applicants, they usually say 4-8 weeks. I was told to wait 4-8 weeks then got DM next day and then oath invite on 5 calendar day. Good Luck.

My status changed to DM today. (I wrote the test yesterday at Scarborough). Could the spreadsheet please be updated?

I am hoping my oath invite comes as swiftly as yours did :)

Hi Ibry,

Congrats on your now being a Canadian citizen.

I got my oath letter last week and just had a question about what all do you carry.

As per the oath letter
- 2 id's (PR, DL/ Health card)
- COPR - Landing document original. Here it says all original documents in your possession, which other document do we need to carry other than landing document, just a bit confused
- All passports in my possesion (current and expired)

Thanks in advance.
