Fingerprints done today.

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 30, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 3, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on March 1, 2018.

From Toronto. Still no news. Anybody else in the same boat? I'm travelling for work (2 months) so I'm sure I'll get my invite in the middle of my trip. Can I re-schedule my test? Thanks in advance folks and congrats to everybody else who made it to citizenship!

Yes, as soon as you get the invitation you should contact them and reschedule the date if you will be unavailable. Some offices send the notification by email and some do by postal mail, will there be anyone in your home that could let you know if it arrives by postal mail?

I applied November 30th, wrote test May 14th and still waiting for oath swearing date even though my status is showing as 'decision made'. Anyone else experience this delay? It's 2 months now since I wrote the test. I live in Toronto - downtown. I wrote the test in Scarborough. Below are my details for the excel file...

I'm in the same boat, they received my application on Nov 23, 2017 and started processing it on Feb 14, 2018 -> but no news as of yet, I check my ECAS weekly now. You can reschedule the test once you receive an invitation for it. I'm keeping my summer trips extremely short 3-4 days max for the same reason as I don't know if they'll schedule my test in that time; but seeing how slow it has lagged I don't think I'm going to get an invite to write for a test before September.

Thanks for responding. Yes, someone will be there in case I get my notice by postal mail. I think it's a bit strange that I haven't had any news since most of the people here already got their test invites - at least. I guess it's probably Toronto that's very slow.

We're in the same situation. My mom's application has been in process since February 14, 2018 and we haven't heard anything from IRCC since then.
