Hi guys! Just want to let you know I passed the exam 19/20 today and oath taking on the same day. Exam is pretty easy but you need to read discover canada and practice lots of test online. Is anyone can update the spreadsheet? Check ecas DM now. Thank you guys and goodluck to all. Proud to be canadian.

Did they inform you that the Oath ceremony would happen the same day? That great that it all happened on the same day!

Can you share your AOR date, In-process date, and Test invite date?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 8, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 13, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on March 16, 2018
4. Test invite email May 24, test on June 20

Quick question to whoever may know, what original documents should I carry with me to the citizenship test? Most of the originals have been sent with the citizenship application, isn't it? From what I understand, it should be the Original passports, original IELTS/English/French proficiency test results, original IDs, PR card. Anything else I am missing? The test invite mentioned these things as well anyway so the part that says all your original documents that support your citizenship application is kind of confusing.

I didn't send originals, I sent copies of my passport, DL, transcripts, etc. Then required to bring originals with me to test. If you sent originals and haven't received them back I would advise you to call and ask the whereabouts of your originals.

Your location of Oakville is updated in Notes column. As soon as an applicant gets test invite, we usually update the location to visa office so that other can refer the timeline for a particular visa office.

Hello everyone,

First, here are my dates for reference. I know that the application was delivered on Oct. 30th, but I just like to be more conservative and consider myself a November applicant (I know my luck is not too good with immigration matters).

When I compare my timeline to other Vancouver applicants for November, there seems to have been quite a delay for me to not get my test invitation yet. Out of the 29 other Vancouver applicants who applied "after" me in November, and reported their "In Process" date, 25 received their test (and 9 are at Oath stage). Since not everyone will ultimately care about updating their status, I think this leaves me at odds.

I requested and received my GCMS notes today. The notes don't seem to show any good reason for why my application has not been picked up for test yet. The last update on the application says that my FP were updated on the system on 3/26 (note that I mailed it 2/28) and that I passed the Criminality check. All other elements of assessment are still marked as "Not Started". I thought the delay might be the FP, but when comparing this to another applicant who did report their FP timeline details, my FP were updated on the system even before their FPs were submitted, and yet they recently reported they received a test invitation. All this again leaves me wondering, why?

Apologies for the long message. I just found you guys are very welcoming, and may provide some explanation to this frustration.
