You mainly look at the progress of the checks: security, criminality, residence, prohibition
Thanks. it says Criminality cleared and the rest not started. not sure how long will it take as I applied in November 2017 and got in process in January 24th.

Please update spreadsheet.

Checked ecas this morning and it now says Decision Made. (Test was 2 days ago).

Thanks!

I don't think I'm on spreadsheet. I'm November applicant. Received my application Nov 3. Got the Note of AOR Jan 12 and IP Jan 23.
Added you to November sheet of global 2017 tracker. Link is in my signature.

Congrats on Test invite

I see that you have been suggesting this. Is this just from your personal experience, or are there multiple people who had shared the same experience.

To be candid, I really think it would have no impact.

True, i don’t think calling the call center or emailing them 100000000x will make an impact. Its just a waiting game. For people who are so impatient, you’ve been here 3 yrs as PR, so couple more months wait is nothing, continue with your daily lives.

Hey guys I and my wife are now DM in Ecas but the children are still IP. Is that normal? Are they going to be IP until the oath ceremony or what? Please share who had the same. Thanks

Yes but some people already have a plan to travel to settle affairs which were left unsettled back in home country, and some of those matters can be time sensitive. It would be costly to fly back to Canada just for citizenship ceremony, and you can't delay citizenship ceremony more than 2 times I heard.

My mother is in such a situation, she has to initiate her retirement procedure from a provincial government job in Pakistan and that process takes more than 6 months to a year, and her expat leave is expiring.

My mom's in similar situation, her app has been in process since Feb 14. She's from Surrey.

I'm IP since 14 Feb as well, but my brother was IP on 4-Feb and he had his citizenship test and interview in Surrey on 23-May-2018. He didn't travel overseas and only 2-3 weekend trip in the USA. I however travelled a lot to USA (probably 20+ trips), Europe and Pakistan. Maybe that is the reason? I don't know
