I wrote my test today i got 16 i saw the score sheet. Highest score was 20 i noticed just a family both failed or sumn was highlighted. Anyways just 3 documents were asked passport pr card and proof of english

I have been trying to get through to the CIC . The message always is that it is busy and can't transfer me to an agent. What number were you calling ... any suggestions would be helpful

- Called CIC today to find out the update. They said the background check has been completed but no update after that.
- I live in Fort Mcmurray so I may have to go to edmonton for test.

Does anyone know how long does it take after they're done with the background check?

Mine was same since Frb 7, I did ask my MP to inquire and he got information that my application was sent to Calgary Office on Feb 21. Then i send Fax to calgary office with my application details asked for an update. So this morning i received an email from them saying they received my fax and my citizenship test is scheduled next month. they did mention in email i should receive formal test invite on a couple of Days.

Anybody here waiting to hear from Hamilton office? Or does anyone know any update made by Hamilton office recently?

Had my test today at Hamilton office and they did say that they had a lot more applications forwarded from Toronto and Mississauga. They are getting bogged down and looking to get some temporary clerks.

Happy to update that we had our oath ceremony in Ottawa last Friday.
It feels great to join this wonderful country as citizens!

That’s cool! I wanna try that. What’s the Calgary fax number? We have the same timeline but no test date for me. Have you received the formal test invite yet? Also, have they updated your ecas? Thanks

Hamilton office seems to be really slow!!!!

So... I live in etobicoke (gta) and all this time thought my papers will be in scarborough. Got my gcms notes today and my secondary office is Mississauga IRCC... is this unfortunate or not? I’m seeing some movements from Scarborough but not Mississauga.

Also it says on GCMS notes paper file office: CPC Sydney location: In transit — does that mean its on its way to Mississauga IRCC?

then another info I can decipher is that under criminality check it states ‘Passed’. Other checks (knowledge, residence, language, prohibition) ‘Not Started’.

Lastly, i requested GCMS notes on 4/20, the notes that was sent to me said it was generated on 4/23. So its almost a month since these info are correct. I wonder where my app is now. Sigh.

In process app since Jan 11.
