Times like these I wish it would be so much more easier if CBSA did exit and entry stamps on the passport whenever we exited and entered Canada. For entry I know we do the customs form which serves the same purpose but still.
I wish it was that easy, but unfortunately I got another step to do for this and wait for the request to be mailed first by them.

FYI -

FOIA data from USA
CSIS / CBSA - ATIP - Canada

everything is accessed thoroughly before test is issued ; so if an officer is demanding it again ; its just to show the authority..
Applicant has no choice than to obey the paper digging..

Hi all how long it will take to get oath invite after the test ?
Agent told me 3-4 months during my interview... that was almost 2 months ago.

I would like to be added to the list :

Application recieved: November 9,2017
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Application Type: Single
Application Status: In Process since February 18, 2018
Test Invite: Not Yet

Does anyone know why it's taking so long? I see the average IP to Test Invite day for Ottawa is 57
Call the call center... a little secret I know is that they don't like people calling more than once to check on their applications, so what they do is move your application to the front of the line to be looked at by an agent. Don't ask me how I know, but trust me, I know.:D

Hi everyone
I done my test and interview on 26 April in Saskatoon, my online status show IP,today I call citizenship office they said my requirement are complete but my interview desicion not showing any thing ,they said I write a letter to Saskatoon office, please give me advice what’s happening in my case
I would chill if I were you. Writing a letter would just piss people off and put you in the lime light. Better to just wait. Took my wife 2 months to move from IP to DM. Only took me a few days. Be patient... you will become a Canadian this summer. ;):D

I have a friend with a family who applied at the end of October and they became CITIZENS on March 8th for a grand total of 139 days. I am 91 days now "in process," so yeah seems slow to me. I think they selected a certain number of files and are working through those to completion before starting the second set. It seems if you didn't make that first group it is going to be a while. I don't know anything particular, just watching the spreadsheets.
Call the call center and you just ask about the case... the agent will give you the same ole rhetoric but your case will start moving after you hang up... secret is, they don't want you calling back so they will move your application up the ladder to be looked at with the next batch. Just trust me on this.:D

Really??

so that means i am already over the 57 day average time to get a test invite? is that concerning?
I think trying not to go against the averages once you fall outside those times is best (for your mental health anyway) IE; I'm at 88 days since I went to IP and still no test invite. The average showing for my area right now is 59 and someone who went into process a few days after I did got their test invite a few weeks back and another one who went into process the day before me got there's the first week of April, and still nothing for me. I don't want to be that person that calls unnecessarily and there really is nothing we can do as the stated processing times from start to finish is a year. Sucks pretty badly to see a bunch of December and even Jan applicants now getting their test invites but that's all part of this awesome process. Spending less time on this forum since then has helped my frustration.
