Hello, we are on same boat. we sent our applications for citizenship from GTA(family) on November 17th, 2017 , it was received on November 20th , 2017, until now we have not received our AORs. We sent WEB form request twice, We called several times to CIC, agent from CIC sent request to Sydney office behind us but he said that Sydney office has up to 3 months to answer. People here recommended to refer to your MP. So we did it , now we are waiting some answer from our MP , who sent request to Sydney office behind us and Sydney office should answer in 10 business days.
Maybe try to refer to your MP. Good luck.

Hello Nov2017 and AJ_1337,
I'm in the same boat with you guys. My application was received on November 20, 2017 with 1098 days of presence. So far, no AOR.
I'm trying to do a little research here as to the possible reasons for that.
Please let me know if any of the following situations are applicable to your case:
1. Did you request any immigration records under ATIP within the last 2 years?
2. Did you request travel history under ATIP from the CBSA within the last 2 years?
3. Were you granted a PR-status under Protected Person/Convention Refugee category?
3a. If yes, have you traveled outside of Canada while in the status of Protected Person/Convention Refugee?
3b. If yes, were any of those trips to the country of your origin?

4. Have you ever encountered any errors or discrepancies in your immigration records (e.g, misspelled names, wrong date of birth, country of birth, etc.)
5. Did you request an urgent processing of your application for the grant of citizenship?
5a. If yes, was this request made at the time of application or after the application had been received?
6. Within the last 5 years, how many addresses have you resided at?

I have a feeling that staffing levels, overtime, whatever things were put into place to deal with the October rush are now back to normal. We used to see activity on Saturday but not anymore. If your case hasn't advanced for a while, settle in, the time frames are moving back to the historical norms.

I don't have any of those particular situations but what I can say is that it is impossible to know what the cause is unless you can directly speak to the agent in charge of your file... everything else would be just speculation. I know a few people on here have requested their notes and got AOR the same or next day when they did. Maybe you should do the same... no clue.

No
Not everyone knows
Me i thought only test u can not share questions but not interview
Also i fid not ask about what are the questions
I just wanna know in the interview in general what is it about
Is it about passport or what
So please dont quote my message and make it big deal
As in this forum many people shared their interview so that s why i thought its not big deal
U can go look old posts in this thread
All spoke about the interview but NOT the TEST
I wrote the below in March after my test... hope it helps you.

Just got back from the exam/interview guys and got 20/20!!!:D:D:D
I found this website to be the most useful of them all! http://www.v-soul.com/onlinetest/

So I got there on time but couldn't find the room where the exam was going to be held. I and 2 other people were 2mins late but the lady said it was fine because she didn't start giving the instructions yet anyways. She was really nice... but please don't be like me and try to be there atleast 15mins early. ;) So we sat down, were given the instructions and were given the exam which I was the second person to finish out of 13 people. Exam was hella easy!!! Finished it in like 3-5mins! I was trying to figure out when the hard and tricky questions were coming but none came!!! Might not be the same for everyone though because obviously everyone gets a different exam.

I gave the invigilator my exam and was told to go into another room for the interview. The lady who interviewed me was fairly young and was very nice so everything pretty much went smoothly. ADVICE: Do bring everything imaginable to the interview for proof and reference. The originals of every document that you submitted because you never know what they may ask for. I didn't think they would ask for the original COPR but brought it anyway and that was the first thing she asked for... as well as my University degree certificate. Also, she went through my expired and new passport to ensure that my dates from the Physical Presense Calculator were correct. Anyway, all went well in my book. After asking me a few more questions (interview lasted around 15-20mins the most) she told me it would be another 3-4 month wait for the ceremony but I doubt it would take that long with not much applications from Halifax and all.

Good luck to everyone else on this journey to Canadian Citizenship!!!:D:D:D

Can someone update the below on the spreadsheet please. I got the email on the March 7th, but ECAS updated as March 1st. Probably doesn't matter at this point but meh. Thank you.

4. We sent you a notice on March 1, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 22, 2018 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hi "Gentle Iron", my understanding that our envelops with our citizenship application packages weren't opened yet , this is a reason why we don't get AOR yet or why the applications isn't returned, they still didn't start to look into our applications, when they start to do it , so or we get AOR or application is returned. Nothing connects to your questions, on all your question I can answer "No".

Hi ,
Both me and my wife passed test and also status showing decision made for both ,but my kids status still showing In process. Is it every thing ok ??

Yes, it is normal. My kids recieve Oath invitation so after In Process line on ECAS, they have Oath invitation line. No Decision Made line foe my kids.

Dear All, I have not heard anything since the in process on Dec 28? I understand the application from Brampton is taking longer, but am getting worried? Can you please help me find a way to inquire about the status of my application.

Thank you in advance

I've noticed that some applications were updated on the weekends. Does this mean IRCC officers work 7 days a week?
