My status is still showing this and no test invite. Anyone is the same boat??

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 7, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 18, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on February 14, 2018.
I guess it too slow process.
Is test invite via email or on exas? Thanks. Mine in process since feb 9. Dnt worry they will get to us

It will come either by snail mail or email. But based on recent reviews, its mostly by email.
@ibry - location dependant....

Calgary does - email.....Ottawa relies on snail mail!! etc

Just received the citizenship test invite to appear at Scarborough CIC office.

Invitation Letter - April 4, 2018
Test Date - April 19, 2018

Thanks but does it pop up on ecas? Thanks
test invite and oath invite are usually updated on ECAS.

few (very few) applicants have reported that it is not updated in ECAs but they got an email for test invite.

not sure, what you mean...

If you have provided the address of your application as say - Ottawa and have moved to Calgary without updating the records. The IRCC Ottawa would still consider you are living in ottawa and provide a test date at IRCC ottawa center.

It is better to update the address unless you are willing to travel to Ottawa(whatever the home address) for the test and Oath. If you are traveling back and forth it is ok. The downside is, If you update your address/location it may add few weeks to your processing as the file has to be physically be transferred to a different office.

calgary is(was) on fire - they sent out quite a few test invites last week or the week before.
