Bn in process since Jan 22

My husband's application has been in process since Jan. 16. He is planning to visit his mother in New York in July. Hopefully, he will have a DM prior to then. She is elderly and unwell, but he also doesn't want to miss any appointments from IIRC.

did my test today, it was ok.
she told me 3-4 months to wait for the oath, but I hope it 'll be earlier.
Congrats!:D Same thing they told me about the 3-4 month wait... was the test easy for you?

I'd say that would constitute urgent processing... I wonder if CIC can do that for you and your husband.

The test will be the only appointment, besides the oath. It's likely that the test will happen before then. After that, it's a waiting game anyways. It would probably be urgent if he cannot legally travel under other travel documents.

Thank you . I read only 2 times and my spouse listen audio version 2 times. Yes we did online tests which already provided by someone in this forum.

Did you see the online tests helpful ?

Nailed the test.
Suggestion as every one says.... Read the book atleast twice. Test can be super easy if you understand the book.
Any ways, test was done within 8 minutes. Lined up for the interview which was just checking the IDs and passport stamps.
Was asked of any travel plans for next three months.
Mine personally will be a bit delayed as I spent a good amount of time overseas and hence they have asked for a PCC. But overall good experience and smooth process.

Wish everyone all the very best.

Congratulation

Just wanted to share my experience of preparing Citizenship test.

Read the questions at the end of the book or go through one online test maximum to make yourself acquitance with the type of questions may come in the exam.

Then read the book word by word even captions of pictures. After finishing the book one time, go for online tests and solve 10 to 15 online tests.

At this stage, you will have an idea where do you stand and how much effort you need to put on readong the book second time.

Then read the book second time again and go back to online tests again after reading the book second time. Then you try to solve at least15 to 20 tests second time, off course not the same ones but new ones.

You must be ready to get 20/20 if you don't try to skip anything or take short cut. Understanding the information in the book is important as there could be 2 to 4 questions which might be tricky ones and require understanding of info given in the book.

Good luck everyone for the test.
