I got an acknowledgment on Feb 15, and I have not heard anything from CIC yet. My status on the status page has not changed from "Application Received". Anyone in the same state as me?
Your timeline seems about right. Just wait about 2 weeks more, you will hear something.

I'm sure they are working through files that aren't represented in our tracking.

I understand that there are other files not included here but not one single entry among 200 Montreal files since March 14th indicates something. Been here 19 years so I can wait....just stating the obvious.

I have a general Q
What all document Interviewer generally verify during Interview
Only those document which I attached with application ? OR can ask for any thing else

In case of any thing else what it can be ?

My all Expired Work permits ? salary letter form employer ? I mean to say how We will know what they will ask to check ?

Any suggestion ?

Take the documents on the list and the originals of all documents you sent copies of (passport, PR card, proof of language knowledge,...).

Beyond that take your health card (multiple people have been asked for that, even though it's not on the list). Take your COPR, if you have it (a few people have been asked for their COPR during the interview, though it's not on the list anymore).

If you applied for a minor then take their documents as well.

If they want you to provide any other document you'll be sent a letter asking for you to mail the documents (or photocopies, at least). You're not expected to carry every possible document with you to your interview.

Good to know and congratulations, updated the sheet

She was 55 at the time of application so she's waived from knowledge and language requirements. You're right, I guess the Vancouver office processes apps quicker, and you're lucky that they handle yours.

Then there is probably a chance that she is being processed at the Vancouver office too.
I hope you will find out soon enough when you get your test invite. Crossing my fingers for your mom!

Hmmmm, guys, a trivial question here:

For my test invite, the ECAS update finally appeared today, and it said:

"We sent you a notice on March 15, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 18, 2018 at 12:20 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment."

But my test invite letter in my email is date March.20th and that is also when I received the email. Maybe CIC is backdating test invites to make it seem like it has been sent out earlier? Or maybe the other way around?

I am wondering which one is really the official test invite date, no that it really matters that much, but just to get it right for the tracking sheet.

Officially, yes... they have a deadline they must process your application by and they have the right to exhaust that entire time to process it to completion.
Technically, no... alot of applications are completed way before 12 months. It all depends on your particular situation.
