Hello fellow November applicants :) Had to update my address too - my application was in process since January. However when updating my address i realized that i entered the wrong dates on my application, now i'm worried about the next steps. Whats the process if address dates are not correct? Do i have to submit a new application?
What? I don't remember I had to enter any dates? I just entered the address, and maybe a phone number, and checked "mailing address same as home address", before submitting it.

Dates were required - this is how i knew that the original month i provided in my application was not correct

Hmm... Now I remember there was a date required - but that's the effective date for the new address. Since my "new" address is the same as my old address, I don't think the effective date matters.

Any input would be appreciated !!

I think that's totally fine. The effective date is just so they know when to start sending correspondence to the new address. It's not like you mis-informed them about where you live.

BTW, I tried ECAS again and it took me back to the address update page, even though I just updated address and was able to see my status. I now think their system is in a glitch, and we should wait a while before trying to access ECAS again.

I have access to my ECAS now - still in progress so im guessing it was a glitch. Im hoping that there's no delay in my file due to the address dates :)

When I had access this morning, my ECAS showed the same info as before - I went IP on Feb 6 and I'm from Ottawa.
