Hello,

My ecas status changed to In Process. Can sombody please update the spreadsheet?

Thanks for keeping the spreadsheet updated.

First of all, keep in mind that you need 1095 days of physical presence in Canada after the landing to be eligible for Canadian citizenship.

Yes, you need to tell about all of your trips during the whole eligibility period (so the online calculator counts the exact number of days you have spent in Canada). As well as you need to mention that you were out of Canada before landing. Be accurate when you answer the online calculator's questions.
In general, most of the questions in the application cover the whole eligibility period, just one question which asks for Police Record Check if you were absence for more than 183 days last 4 years. Good luck

Eligibility period is from 2013-02-11 to 2018-02-11
Received PR and moved to Canada in 2015-01-16. Before this date he used to live in India.
In online presence calculator, does he need to mention any travels outside of home country between 2013-02-11 and 2015-1-16?
--------------

Note that the physical calculator absence page asks for the DATE LEFT CANADA. Before getting the PR, he was outside of Canada. He became PR, then he moved to Canada for the first time. How could he mention when he left Canada before he even entered? Please give me more suggestion. He visited Thailand for 4 days in 2014. He visited Thailand before he got the PR and when used to live in India. What does he need to mention in Online presence calculator?

Thank you for your reply.
Can I mention the following in reason field for my stay in India before getting the PR?
From 2013-01-11 to 2015-01-16, Destination: India
Reason field:
I lived in India before I got Permanent Residency (PR). I visited Thailand from 2014-06-23 to 2014-06-26. I moved to Canada for the first time on 2015-01-16 and became permanent resident on the same date.

------------ just for your reference ----

@Dimma and @shan30 kindly confirm if you traveled out of country before meeting the physical presence requirement.

I am wondering if the travel during that time could cause processing delay as I traveled to US 17 times before meeting the physical presence requirement.

Hello! I travelled more than 25 in US and just got my application in process today. Do you think it would delay our papers? Now I’m worried

Updated, congrats
Thanks So much

Can some one tell me what is next step ? I will get Test/Interview invitation through Email or Hard copy ?
My second Question is it advisable To request the reschedule Test date/Interview date ? , In month Of Apr I have some planned vacation to my home country ? and as per my calculation I will get test date in Apr only (if all goes well)

Email or physical copy, can be either.
Not advisable to postpone test.

Congratulations! Looks like there had been couple more Vancouver test invitations today (from October applicants). My parents timeline is very similar to yours, they are from Vancouver and got IP on Jan 23rd. Hopefully they will get interview invitation soon too. (They are senior citizens, so no test)

The invitation should come soon! Best of luck!

To make it simple, applicant who doesn't have PR status throughout the whole eligibility period i.e. landed 3 years before the date of application or so, doesn't need to fill in the travel details before landing.

I guess applicants with no travel might clear physical presence verification sooner then who traveled a lot.
