November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

My application is returned today. The reason they stated is that: You have not submitted two identification for the child. I am not sure what else I have to give them. Already submitted: passport copy, copr, pr card, birth certificate(india). She doesnt go to school yet so there is nothing to give. What else it could be? Also on mime and my wife’s docs, they affixed photos and I can see back side of photos were not stamped by photographer but they accepted it as is. Pls suggest what should I do now. Thanks

I was just thinking about that too. Yes that is the only doc I missed. Just one more question: they have sent a letter with the regular mail address where to send the whole package. Do you think whether it’ll be ok if I send the package by courier instead at this address?

Well follow their instructions.
Also check with others who got their application back.
Courier is of course quicker, if they have two addresses use the one without PO Box, the addresse with the courier should not have PO Box

For Ontario, the health card for minors don't have photos, so it won't count as a valid ID... I'm just really confused why passport and PR card aren't enough??

Health card without photo is still an accepted ID for minors. 100% sure about that, as long as you include the other IDs with photos as PR card and passport.

My application reached there on Nov 23. Returned with letter dated Dec 08 which I received yesterday.

Health card for sure. I included all your above mentioned ids for my kid along with her health card.

Saskatchewan health card doesn’t have photo either. But I sent it along with my kids passport copy, copr, pr card copy and birth certificate. Received AOR.
