Hi,

I received the long-awaited AOR via email today, please update my status (Line 32 on the spread sheet). My App. was delivered Nov. 3. Good luck everyone.

For those who just recently got AOR, can you please update us on how you answered question 9c? Thanks!

I am eligible to apply for citizenship now. Should I send an application via regular post or courier? Which one is faster?
Thanks.

Obviously courier is faster. Purlolator has next day delivery. FedEx/UPS take 2 days. Xpresspost can take 2-4 business days. Regular mail is the worst way to send, you won't even know if it was delivered. Opt for signature only.

Citizenship is a life altering event, best not to cheap out on application delivery.

Depends on where you live. The application needs to be sent to an address in NS, so regular post could be used, but courier is 99% of the times faster. I would recommend using courier for such an important application. In any case, always choose tracking option.

What is the question here?

As far as we have observed - the apps sent to Sydney is sorted(in whatever god only knows way) and is checked for completeness and processed. Once the application checks off on completeness - AOR email(or mail) is sent out. The processing of the file from this point onwards is done by the local office(based on applicants residence)

The local office will conduct the test and interview based on their capacity. The schedule for oath is also based on the local office capacity. I think that is what @ZingyDNA mentioned as "Once processing starts, your local office will matter." Once the local office starts processing - ECAS would indicate "IP".

This is my understanding;

I answered YES on 9c, but I provided an additional letter of explanation. I called them as well, they said it is the wrong question. So I think whatever answer we provide it ll be ok.

Send via courier (which is faster) and pay the extra $1 or $2 to have them have CIC sign for it. Costed $16 for me to send via FedEx.
