We still haven't received any updated. No DM or anything. Background check still in progress since February 22. I even checked the spam emails but there wasn't anything there either.

ok so i just got an email from UPS saying our COPR will be delivered tomorrow!

So to answer a question, we used Express UPS to Ottawa and back, cost a lot, but totally worth it for the quickness and email alerts for every step of the way.

And to answer another question, we live pretty close to the border, so we aren't shipping anything, we are just renting a truck. We are also pretty minimal and also decided to just rent a 15' truck. whatever fits, fits, the rest we will donate.

Woohoo congratulations!! Thats pretty great you live close to the border. All of my items generally will fit in a few boxes but unfortunately I don't live close to the border at all. Glad your getting your COPR!!!

Yep. I'm in the same boat. Just twiddling my thumbs. I am supposed to start travelling for work at the end of April and the longer I am waiting on an answer, the larger chance I'll have to cancel on my clients. It's starting to be a bit of a nail-bitter.
I am sure that we will all have news soon.

That was my thinking when I ordered ours and the next day our BC changed to IP! Maybe it'll get them to work on your file if they haven't been, or at least update the info online (which I suspect is what happened with us).

I ordered notes on the 7th of March, and received them yesterday.

Based on your past posts about your timeline and how Ottawa seems to work, I'm guessing you'll get DM next week.

I'd recommend ordering the notes anyway, even if that happens. My husband and I found it interesting to read the notes and look at the dates things actually happened. For instance, my background check showed as In Progress on January 19th on MyCIC, and by Janaury 20th Criminality, Security, and Eligibility all changed to Passed. It was several weeks until we got DM, however, and another week after that before PPR. Eligibility showed Recommended Passed on December 13th.

Looking back, I'm glad I didn't order the notes during the process. It would have just driven me even more crazy. We found one spot, for instance, where it lists my husband as being a Canadian citizen living exclusively outside Canada (which was not the case at all, he's never lived outside Canada.) We double-checked the forms even to try and figure out where the heck they would have gotten that from. No clue. Whatever it was, I'm assuming they figured it out and realized that wasn't the case.

Same. My BGC went in process March 15. I thought that maybe my officer updated it late, and I'd be getting DM within 2 weeks, like most. Now I'm beginning to think I'll be waiting another 2-4 weeks for DM ???

I'm considering ordering GCMS notes, but I just received correspondence from Ottawa 2 weeks ago, and it's only been a little over 4 months, so I don't know if I should. I also don't know how to go about ordering notes.

Excluding January slightly because of the holidays, it seems like DMs tend to go out in clusters from Ottawa early in the month, followed by a rolling cluster of PPRs a week or so later. March 15th would have been past that point, so I'd expect you'll have DM in the batch that should roll out in early April.

We got CoPR today! Super excited! We plan on landing May 1.
