I got the same email today. Neither of us have a job offer but we did send quite a bit of stuff before so it's a bit frustrating to receive this request. :(

Anyway, good luck with your application!

edit: btw did yours also state "SPR's residency: Evidence that your sponsor resides in Canada. This includes but is not limited to: pay stubs, T4 slips, utility bills, and banking history..." at the beginning?

Thanks, good luck to you too. I figure the fact that they're asking for stuff means it's being processed and not collecting dust on someone's desk :)

This is what the email said:
Receipt of information from client SPR's residency: Please provide additional proof that you intend to reside in Canada. This includes but is not limited to copies of correspondence with: real estate companies, property rental agencies, health care agencies, insurance agencies, financial institutions, etc. Please provide as many indicators as possible as any single one of these may not be enough on its own to prove intent of residency.

What does SPR mean?

My sponsor has that line too. 4th line :)

I could hug you!!! :D thanks for letting me know. Adds to the relief! If you don't mind sharing- did they receive an email or a letter? And how soon from when the "4th line" appeared?

You know what's interesting, it appeared last Monday, February 13, 2017. But we've been approved since November 30, 2016. We received the SA letter on December 1st. :)

These are the lines:

1.We received your application to sponsor Xxxx Xxc on November 4, 2016.
2.We started processing your application on November 19, 2016.
3.We sent you correspondence on December 1, 2016 about the decision on your application.

Oops. There are only 3 lines. Sorry for saying there were four, that's what I thought. I mean it appeared on the 3rd line. ;)
1. We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxx on November 1, 2016.

Dependents listed on the application are: xxxxxxxx
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 18, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on November 17, 2016.
4. We sent you correspondence on November 24, 2016 about the decision on your application.

For me prvc I have 4 lines.

I think that it is because you didn't received AOR1.

What does SPR mean?

I think SPR means sponsor.

The wording in mine is a bit strange. I have basically the same sentence as you but first it says the other one I posted, which makes it sound like I need to provide proof my spouse resides in Canada even though she lives with me in Germany. :-/

Thanks for that tip. I was only worried that if they see my tickets and the kids we'd have problems coming in if we don't have the permanent visa yet.

Just make sure the non-Canadians have return flights so they can prove their dual intent - if you buy the flights separately it's easier to get a larger refund if you don't end up using it. The non-Canadians won't be able to bring all their belongings with them, just what you'd take for a regular visit. Of course the Canadian moving back to Canada can take all her/his belongings.

You can read more about dual intent here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/dual.asp

The sponsor will received the email.

Did you provide an email address? Check your spam.

Yes- I did... Even went back to double check the forms I'd saved to confirm- and both the PR and I have been checking our inboxes and spam obsessively. :D Will call them this week if I don't receieve anything. Seems it isn't too uncommon for people to receive letters even when they include their email- just puzzles me how there is no set standard to this whole process. Would alleviate and eliminate so much of the need for people to call in and pester them for updates...

I STILL only have one line on ecas. It says we received your application Dec 29. Under sponsor it says decision made and that appeared Jan 20. I too put my email address and it was mailed to me via Canada post. Letter was dated Jan 20 but wasn't sent until Jan 27 by CIC and I revived it in the mail Feb 2.

So you can't really rely on that either because mine still says they only received it haha
Our PR side changed to "in process" Jan 27 and it still only has the lines we received your application and medical results.

I've done a lot of worrying but what can you do. The waiting game is painful as is the entire process. Right now I just talk to myself everyday and say you have to have faith that it will all work out. Worrying will not change anything other than my nerves haha

By the way, I still can't even link mycic.

Funny!! I am reassuring my self daily too with the same self pep talks!! :D hope you can link things soon- though to be honest, it just seems to add to the worry...
