How much time it took from decision made to oath letter? Also do they send oath letter by email or mail?

Just got my oath invitation for april 21 in Mississauga.
it saws 8.30am does anybody else in same boat, when I look in website its 9.45am. do they want us to go early for document check and finally have the oath at 9.45am?

When did you apply. We applied in November but still waiting for test invite.

Applied in Nov 18. Had the test in March 13th , test 20/20 and minor questions and had decision made on march 14th.
I have seen some cases even faster especially in Mississauga. I did make a mistake and my application was returned as picture was not stamped and I send it back on first week of dec 2016

Congratulations!!! Yes.you're right. Be there at the specified time,or earlier if you like. There's at least another 99 ( maybe more,we were 104 on my oath date) applicants taking oath with you.....usually takes time to get everything settled,organized in the ceremony.

Aplication received nov 10
Aor dec 1
IP dec5
FP request march 1
FP sent march 8
And still waiting for the test invite. I am in toronto

regular processing time - 12 months

so ur within normal time frame as per cic

My eCas was update on the 31st of March '17 which said oath invite was mailed to me. I did not receive it yet. Should I be worried?

For cic everything is normal. But for us it is very frustrating . Especially if you are really waiting for the canadian passport to travel abroad.

waited 4 yr to apply
make it as 5 in your mind

no issues .. certain things are beyond our control. so just chill and take it easy

Absolutely! I was about to apply for citizenship in 2015, only to find out that 3/5 rule has been replaced by a new 4/6 rule! Nothing else to do but to keep on living; your day of eligibility, application, test, interview, oath invitation, and oath ceremony will come....
