I'm still waiting for our DM :( 26 days and counting!

i think it all depends on officer who works on our files

if they say oath 1-3 months . definitely we cant expect to have DM in a week

I know, but it's so disheartening when most of the people on the spreadsheet has DM after 1 or 2 days!

Hello,

Anybody in this forum who has Hamilton, ON as the office. I would like to get know how long it takes from "Decision made" to oath ceremony!

Thanks,

Wanted to let everyone know as I have been following this forum.
I had my test yesterday and today I have the status change to decision made.
The examiner said oath letter invitation will be sent 1-2 months.

Can anyone provide some guidance on the following? I have my exam scheduled for next week:

Citizenship Test:

Are the questions general in nature like the ones at the end of the study guide or do they ask about specific dates as well?
Any tips to help with the preparation..

Interview:

What questions can be expected? Also, the test invitation letter says " to carry any documentation to support the physical presence requirement if asked by the officer"- What type of documentation should we carry to the interview for this one?

Appreciate your help.

Hi Everyone,
I did my Test recently and wanted to share my experience for the benefit of other forum members

Test : It was very easy. I was over prepared with dates and personalities etc. Especially in the history section there are lot of dates and personalities .
The exam was easy though, most of them are very generic questions. The link that other had shared on this site of Richmond Library was very helpful.
Exam questions are similar to those. If you read Discover Canada and Practice those 150 questions, you should be all set.
Do not waste your money on paid sites/books for the Citizenship test.

Interview: Was simple. They ask generic questions and some specific ones on a case by case basis. In general, its simple.
Carry the Originals that they requested.

It takes 2-3 hours for the whole process, even though the actual test can take only 2-10 mins. Plan accordingly.
