Officer told me I am approving your application, then e can is still In Process. (My wife who took the test with me on the same day had DM next morning).
I thought, at the time, citizenship test was last step. One member in that group told me that citizenship test triggers the first (of three) security checks steps.
I believe that someone like myself (a male from a country that is considered a high risk country security-wise) applies then they might take longer time to check. I have also lived in three different continents in the past 12 years. So I don't consider my case the most typical.
I even read somewhere it's not them (CIC a.k.a IRCC) checking now. Other government agencies (e.g.: CSIS) are involved here.

I don't think that is an issue. This happened to me too. Now all three of us (me, my wife and my daughter - 10yrs old) have the oath invitation letters. Still the ECAS status for me and my wife show - "Decision Made", my daughter still shows - "In process".ayan2016 said:Hello Everyone,
We (My wife and I) sat for the Citizenship Test on Jan 17. The test went well ( both of us scored 20) and the citizenship officer asked some usual questions (about work etc) and said she approved our application. Since my daughter is a minor she did not have to take the test and we notified this to the citizenship officer as well. I recall she had us sign a declaration for this too. Now, since Jan 17 both our ( me and my wife) applications are showing decision made status which is understandable since they had mentioned it would take 2-4 months to get the oath date. What I am worried about is that my daughter's application is still showing 'in progress'. Can anyone help out with the possible reason for this? Thanks a lot.
