Hi guys,

I'm a February 2016 applicant. I was notified that Ottawa started processing my application on April 8th, and so far no other correspondence.

Regarding the RPRF, can we pay that before it is requested by the VO? And how would we go about doing so? Or is it better to wait?

Hey guys! Just a little update. Still no DM, and no contact at all from Ottawa requesting something. Trying not to be anxious but it is hard not to be! Hopefully we will hear something soon...

Congrats to those who have recieved the good news and good luck to those still waiting! :)

Hey everyone, just a quick update. Just a few hours ago we received a request for documents from the Manila VO.

Additional Document/Information Requirements at This Time

In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or documents:

 Proof of application of your child’s Canadian Citizenship (i.e. copy of receipt and information about the date of application and service requested)

I'm taking this as a good sign that they're actively working on our file. :D

Just received COPR less than a week after decision made. :D

Now my passport its on its way and my husband will be soon with me however i dont underdtand why my file is still in transit since January... I hope nothing happend to my file and it will be looked at soon so we can start the ball rolling here almost 6 months and i just want this to be done!

Too bad about your slow app, but CONGRATS for the visitor visa. Being together should make the wait so much easier. :)

courage! I have a question for you, I have no idea, but can you see in your On-Line Services 'in transit' or 'in process'? or should you see another line to know that your file is in your VO or your VO should be updated with an email that your process 'begins' in Mexico?.

Good luck to you all!

We e-mailed the requested documents immediately after receiving the request. Shortly after we received two e-mails from CEM; the first was the generic automated response saying they'd look at it within 28 days, the second was also a generic response, but looks to be at least written by a human;

That was monday, since then we've not heard anything else, nor has eCAS updated to to reflect request of documents.

Since september applicants are yet to hear anything, I'm still expecting to be waiting until at least July for any good news. Hang in there, we'll get through :)

I am still waiting for the request letter of the CEM for my wife Hongkong police clearance. Hoping they will send it this month.

Hi guys,

Please does anyone know what is the average amount of time UK outland spouse visa take from beginning to completion am trying to decide if to do a inland or outland application for my wife.

Thanks in advance

Not sure on the time for London VO, but do outland anyways, it will be faster. Inland is incredibly slow, leaving Canada is risky as you may be denied re-entry thus cancelling your application, and there is no appeal process if you're denied.
