Congrats! I hope I'm not too far behind now. I'm also from the Ottawa November group!

Congrats to all DM :)

It is nice to see so many DM :) It was much easier to wait it out with this supportive group :)

Big Thanks to everyone :D

Still no DM for me, it's been a month since they marked my eligibility as passed in GCMS notes. RPRF paid weeks ago too. Sigh. I was hoping it would come today since that was marked as the "due date" in my notes but wishful thinking i guess. Let this be a lesson to everyone - PAY RPRF UPFRONT!

Did they mention due date in GCMS? What does that Due date mean in GCMS by the way?

Yea they said my case officers code and due date as today. I did some googling and some people say it means nothing others say it's when the system prompts them to look at it. Not putting a ton of faith in it but I'm disappointed in the fact my app is approved but no one has gotten around to looking at the fact I paid all my fees for a month.

Great news, congrats :)

Got Decision Made this morning!
I guess that "Due Date" on GCMS notes really does mean something.

While I'm happy, I just have so much sadness for how long this process takes for the applicants left waiting for months with no updates. I felt like I was going crazy the last month checking ECAS. It was hard even to see people get DM because I was jealous and so confused why they would get it and I didn't.

Hi everyone!

I'm a French citizen, our application was sent on November 26th 2015 to Mississauga.
Sponsorship application approved on February 8th 2016
File sent in Paris on February 12th 2016
RPRF paid on March 25th 2016
Decision made appears on my profile on April 13th 2016.

So what is next? Will CIC send me an email/letter to me or my partner in Canada?
Thanks!

Hello Krishnalynn,

Great news that you shared with all of us. Again, that was not too bad of a timeline at all. I see Ottawa is very quick. The approximate timeline I have noticed is 4-6 months.

Can I ask, are you an Inland or Outland applicant? And if you are an Outland applicant, what would your current country of residence?

I'm an outland applicant residing in Canada on a work permit. Originally from USA.

Congrats!

Even though Manila is much longer then Ottawa, I still don't feel jealous about your quick timeline. Just a quick glance at the appeals thread makes me feel 10 months is a short time to wait compared to years upon years they're going through,

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application to sponsor my husband and it has been transferred to sydney office. I got email from sydney office to submit new zealand consent form along with scanned copies of passport as my husband lives in new Zealand. This is regarding the police clearance.the one that we submitted with the application is not valid.

Does anyone know from their experience how long does it take after that? How long is the process to get police clearance once you submit the forms?

Couple of weeks max
