Good morning! Logged into eCas this morning to find 'Decision Made'. I'm living with my wife in Turkey (both of us Turkish Citizens, I'm dual Turkish / Canadian) and have a son and they requested more info about our 'intent to return'. We were a little worried about that but everything seems to have worked out. Just about 5 months to the day from application sent to Decision made.

Woww congrats very happy for you! Now waiting for land will be really easy have a good trip with your family

I got an email update from Burlington MP that now my file has been sent or transfered to Accra since the 5th April 2016 but no email yet, thank God.

that's after 134 days, God is good... Amen

One month after DM and an e-mail asking us to confirm our address, still no COPR............ I realize we live abroad, but a month is a long time. Normally we get our Canadian mail within 2 weeks. E-mailed CIC, they said it was the post's problem, called the post, they said it was CIC's problem. Anyone from abroad still waiting for mail?

Another quick update - we got PPR today - so 3 days after DM. There are some threads saying that DM before PPR is usually a bad sign but that doesn't seem to be in our case - just in case somebody else is in the same situation.

Just checking, if I do remember, you guys are in Belgium right. If yes, I was yesterday on the line with Canada Post as I mailed out a package with tracking (nothing related to immigration) on March 21st, from Canada to Belgium. I was worried as tracking still shows Mississauga. The CSR explained me that based on the recent attacks, mails to Belgium are holding on (She confirmed she had an alert in her system right away (did not seem like an excuse)), She confirmed that it was almost over and that it would definitely reach Belgium very soon. I'm thinking maybe your COPR is in the same situation.

Thanks! We are planning on leaving in September - my wife works until the end of June and then we'd like to spend the summer here so that the grandparents can have a little bit more time with grandson + my new job in Canada won't start until Sep. With this out of the way we can enjoy the time we have left here before moving back to Canada.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the reassurance I was starting to panic thinking we might have been refused or something.

Hi everyone. I would like to know if anyone of you that have ordered GCMS notes have experienced delays in receiving them? Mine were due on April 8th and I have not received anything yet. I emailed them and got a response acknowledging the delay however I didn't expect another 3 days to past and still not have anything... Any comments would help. Thanks

Just to update: My ECAS still in process with 4 lines
I wonder if it ever change to Decision made My OCD is not happy
Also, apparently Quebec doesn't recognize my previous marriage last name (After my first divorce I kept the name in the pasaport), so half of my documents like QC health card will be in my maiden name and other documents like PR, passport with my current name. So once I receive PR card I need to change my name in passport and order a new card again.
