Updates on my case! I ordered GCMS notes to see what the holdup was. Apparently they sent me correspondence to pay RPRF weeks ago but I never received this. Whatever, I'm paying now and my file says it's approved and ready to go they're just waiting on the RPRF payment. I'm so happy! My notes say all evidence was good and reason to approve my common-law sponsorship. They even mentioned that we have a pet together and included vet documents with both our names on it. I had no lease agreement or joint bills, but lots of mail to our address and our drivers license addresses, as each others beneficiaries, etc.

I know it's not over yet but seeing that I passed everything made me so happy!

That is great news!! Congrats :)

Hi!

Hope everybody is doing well. So I hadn't seen any updates in my ECAS (three lines) for a while now but I recently received an email asking for copies of any Alterations and Observations on my passport. My current passport doesn't have any so I copied the blank pages and sent it to the VO. Has this happened to anybody else? Does the VO send multiple emails or ask for everything needed in one email?

Application filed: 12th Nov
AOR: 7th Jan
SA: 14th Jan
DM: 20th March
PPR: 21st March
COPR: 4th April

what do we have to do to order notes? I filed my application the same time as you did, also Ottawa VO and have not had any updates in a long time... last line updated still just shows medical results were received and we haven't been contacted about any more information needed =/

Received from HKVO today:

Dear xxxxx:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, the following information and documents are required:

xxx - xxxxxx:
> Passport photos: Passport size photographs (photographs must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM 3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications). This must be received at this office by: 2016/05/08

(Date format is YYYY/MM/DD)

They didn't request my passport (I live in HK). Does it mean they will ask me to get my visa in person??

Hello All,

My timeline is on the left.

Are there any Abu Dhabi Applicants in this section?

My VO is AD and would like someone to share their progress with the likes of me. I have noticed some of you from Ottawa VO, Philippines VO had your documents processed real quick.

Judging from when you get your AOR2 (Feb 3 2016) this will be crazy fast if you get approved for your PR. I think IMM 3999 is an old form but I can't be sure, since it is not listed as one of the form or guideline in the CIC website. Did you forgot to include the 5 photos they asked for listed in the region specific form IMM 3903E?

Congratulations Owl29,

That wasn't so bad for a timeline. Can I ask which VO your documents were processed at?

Hi JYC, I replied your question in the other post "Hong Kong Timeline" :)

I submitted my 5 photos already.

Yes, I consider myself lucky. I managed to get PR in 4,5 months.
It was Warsaw. After my interview they gave me papers right away.

Ecas still shows that my application is "in process" and I already landed so this system is REALLY not reliable. I learned that if you are missing a line, don't be worry, it just probably wasn't updated by anyone.
I think it is sad that the only program for us to follow our progress is so bad.
