Can you provide list of things you have sent for SCQ.?

Hi,

We sent the SA from CIC, and forms Number A-1520, A-0546, A-0591, A-0520 which has to be completed by the sponsor.

You can also check below link:

Hi, I am not familiar with A-2520. What's it for?

Also, may I ask as Quebec resident are you required to prove an income at all?

Checked eCase last night, and it was "In Process".

Checked this morning for no discernible reason, and we have DM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Today's a great day! We received DM! :)
Congrats and good luck to everyone!

Congrats!!! :) :) :)

Just an update that my partner and I are still waiting for our DM. We are going through Ottawa, my partner is Japanese, we applied as common law and Ottawa started processing our application on February 3. I'm not worried yet but I just wanted to put it out there that if there is anyone else going through Ottawa and are still waiting you're not alone! :)

Yep still waiting through Ottawa as well, getting a bit despondent seeing people who applied weeks after us get DM already.

Look at it the other way, those of us not from Ottawa likely have another 6+ months yet. So you're very fortunate it's only a few extra weeks. Hang in there :)

Hi Shantaveli,

Sorry my mistake, it is not A-2520 instead it is A-1520.

For Family sponsorship you don't need to prove an income at all.

Refer to this link for the sponsor requirements - Quebec residents

Yeah no doubt, I do feel for those who have to wait for so long.

I am also Ottawa and still waiting for DM. I believe our FBI check is holding us up. They requested it this past week and FBI just charged our credit card yesterday. :)

I still haven't even gotten the FBI request. You got it through email?
I have a feeling I'm going to be on the longer end of waiting for PR unfortunately. Running so low on money too and I'm just really jealous of all the people getting it who applied after me :(

I think us common-law applicants have to wait longer than married couples. That's kind of the general trend I've been observing lately.

Well good news is that we ended up waking up this morning to DM! So shouldn't be long for you guys hopefully.

Yeah plus my partner studied abroad in China and America so I'm guessing his background check will take longer than someone who has only lived in one place. I'm also assuming they will want an FBI check, which we applied/are waiting for but CIC hasn't requested it yet. Same with his Chinese check. Anyways I'm sure it isn't much longer now :D
