How did you call CIC if you dont have UCI?

They can check if a UCI had been issued to you, just call and ask them with your receipt number.

I didn't get an AOR but I did call CIC and got my UCI#. According to the immigration website by using my UCI#.

Sponsorship Application Status: In Process

1.We received your application to sponsor xxxx on November 3, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on January 6, 2016.

Permanent Residence Application Status: Application Received

1. We received xxxx application for permanent residence on November 3, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

I believe so, I guess I will probably receive some sort of acknowledgement this week. But you see my application was sent on Nov 3, I didn't get any feedback until Jan 6 and it is kind of stressful.

No nothing in my mail or email, so at the end I just kind of call and find out my UCI, and use my UCI to obtain my AOR online, I am still waiting for my SA.

I keep seeing everybody's ECAS status on the sponsored person:

Permanent Residence Application Status: Application Received

1. We received xxxx application for permanent residence on November xxx, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

I have the same status but I don't have 2. Medical results have been received.. I did include the medical check doc in the application package. Just wondering where the result is coming from. Is it only the doc or CIC will call the medical institute to get the result?

I have the same issue. My husbands medical was done 1 month prior to submitting my application and I attached proof with the application yet it doesn`t say meds received

My application has been at the Ottawa VO since Dec 10 and I still don't have the "medical results gave been received" on my ecas either. I am not going to worry about it until I hear something from CIC. I have read that CIC isn't consistant with updating the ecas.

I am starting to get really anxious about my AOR...albeit probably irrationally. I keep having thoughts that they have lost it...or they actually returned it ...and sent it to the wrong address in a box or something. :'(

Is it a good idea to call? I keep reading that calling them is practically useless, and that they don't tell you anything. I am at day 60 (before Christmas they were doing SAs for 58 days...now I see it's 63)....I won't be able to call Thursday or Friday, as I will be at work.

You or your partner don't have UCI number? When was your application shipped?
Some members in November skipped AOR also and received SA, so I think I would wait a bit longer for SA letter, keeping in mind that it was Christmas holiday, so add few additional days. At least wait until next week, it's quite possible that you won't receive AOR now and just SA right away.

It is tempting to call of course, but in my head I have this idea if I annoy them too soon and too quick then they will delay my application on purpose, so I am trying to be patience as well. I know, stupid

Edit: I just checked spreadsheet, so we delivered on the same day. I received my AOR on 12.25 and still waiting for my SA.

I keep thinking the same thing...'Oh...WEARY AGAIN?!? Bottom of the pile! mwhahahaha'

I mailed in Nov 11, they received in Nov 13. I do not have a UCI number, as this is my first 'encounter' with Immigration. The anxiety really started to mount when I see all my other November 13 buddies got their AORs last week lol.
