And what does your say? Mine just has simply "We received your application" Was hoping they would indicate when they started processing it.

Mine says that its been received and its in process

My permanent resident application status in ECAS just changed to "In process" from "application received"

Not sure what it means but maybe it got to my VO! I like when things change lol.

guys, I have a concern. I'm planning to go home in the Philippines. My Canadian Husband and I were planning to re apply our sponsorship through outland. Who's gonna do the application, Is it me (Philippines) or my partner in Canada? Thanks!

On the right column? Mine always said in process under sponsorship but not "Permanent Resident Application Status". This is when you put in the sponsor's info.

Interesting though if yours said that all along, who knows with CIC!

Your husband is the one who is sponsoring you, so that means he has to apply for sponsorship for you... you , however have to fill out and sign certain forms, dowload your country specific guidelines for more info

Hoping for LOTS of AORs and SAs this week! Good luck to all the November family. :D

I know. I feel like there's no consistency to any part of this process.

Hoping for this as well! It seems to me nobody has received AOR this week just yet. Can't wait to finally get ours and have the ball rolling. It's already our anniversary and my wife's birthday on Fri and Sat. Hope we get this as our gift! Being long distance is hard.

Thank you..

My Ecas showing this;
in Sponsorship Application Column
1.We received your application to sponsor ******* on November 13, 2015.
2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 8, 2016.
3.We started processing your application on January 7, 2016.

And in Permanent Residence column of sponsored applicant
1.We received *********'s application for permanent residence on November 13, 2015.
2.Medical results have been received

Well that was a very quiet Monday from the CIC for our November family.

Doesn't look like there was much news from CIC on the October thread either!

Hoping that they get back to processing our applications today! :)

I didn't get an AOR but I did call CIC and got my UCI#. According to the immigration website by using my UCI#.

Sponsorship Application Status: In Process

1.We received your application to sponsor xxxx on November 3, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on January 6, 2016.

Permanent Residence Application Status: Application Received

1. We received xxxx application for permanent residence on November 3, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

Let's hope it goes well and good luck to everybody on this forum.

Hi JYC..

How did you call CIC if you dont have UCI?

Stupid, stupid, stupid! I heard from CIC yesterday. I mistakenly filled out the sponsorship questionnaire for within Canada, instead of outside of Canada. At least I was able to get it in to them by uploading it, instead of having it sent all the way from India. It'll be there waiting for them when the visa office opens in the morning.
Does anyone know if this means my application will go to the bottom of the pile and I'll wait another 2 months, or if give it a week or two before I see approval?
