Did you track your package? Did it make it to Mississauga?

It took almost 8 weeks for me to receive AOR, so you still have time. It doesn't mean that it takes 8 weeks for everyone, some people wait a long time. As long as you know that your package made it to Mississauga, you are doing good.
Hang in there!

Hi TracyCa64

Yes I did track it. Hubby sent it via fedex on the 25 and they received it on the 26. signed by a David.
Thank you for the encouragement.

Hi Godgift,
Oh that's good to hear. Let us know when you get it. I am on the October thread, but I bounce around. Lol

I think being on the forum helps us all, keeps us just a little more sane through it all. Ha!

Smiles!!

Welcome :)
The spreadsheet is to keep track of all November applicants, that's way we can have at least some understanding when to expect CIC to send us something.
You can find it in my signature at the bottom of this answer. You can fill your details as well :)

THANK YOU :)

Dear Forumites,

Hope everyone is doing good. I've recently become a Canadian PR on 5th Aug2015 now I am travelling back to India to get married in Feb2016.

After marriage I plan to sponsor my would-be wife under Family class sponsorship.

I ve gone through various threads here and checked CIC official website but still i have few queries n i ll be obliged if anybody can share their views on these doubts of mine:

1. I worked in Toronto for most of my stay but because of 1month leave I had to quit to come back to India for marriage, as I understand in sponsorship approval they ll also scrutinize my financial ability to support my future wife.

My query is wt weightage this "employed status" has in SA, is it like black n white that if no job no approval kinda thing. I do have sufficient funds available (over CAD 13000) in Canadian bank account, which i ve kept aside for times in need.

2. The application process queries:

a. Total fee in CAD: $75(sponsor) + $475 (application fee) +$550 (RPRF)
do i pay all 3 fees online in advance and send receipts along with application to CPC-M ??
Or do i pay RPRF later when its being asked for (is RPRF paid online or through DD)??
Any other fee to be paid apart from these?

b. As i understand Medicals for my spouse and PCC has to be done in advance and has to be included in the app.
is it correct?
do they require medicals for Sponsor also??

Look forward for your valuable inputs.

Thanks everyone n wish u all faster processing in 2016 (hope LIBERALS prove wt they promised :) )

Just FYI - received AOR 2 days ago and I can now login to ECAS using UCI.

Hello,

I recommend you to make a new topic in this forum, then more people will be able to see and respond to to your questions.
You don't need to earn certain amount of money to sponsor your wife, you can be unemployed, but you just can't be on benefits. Also, did you land as single or not? Did you met your wife after you landed or you were in the relationship before? There is so much things to consider that I really think it requires the different topic :)
All information you need about outland application is in this link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

All the forms you and your wife you need to fill are there. There a different requirements for different regions, just follow the checklist and guidelines.
You can pay fees right away, that what most people recommend as payment other half later might postpone your application. Yes, your wife need to do medical upfront, but you don't need to do that.

New day people.. keep those AOR and SA flowing ;D :D
