Question: Who would receive the email re AOR? is it the principal applicant or the sponsor?

Until now my document status with Canada post is ''out for delivery'' since Dec.3

Did you sent it as Xpresspost through Canada Post? Are you in Canada? That seems like too long for it to be delivered. I think I would call Canada Post to check on it. You could call and give them your tracking number.

That's something confusing. I received SA approval letter and it says:

"Provincial Requirements for Residents of Quebec

If you are a resident of the province of Québec, you must submit an undertaking application to the
Provincial Government. To download the required forms, please consult the Ministère de l'immigration,
de la diversité et de l'inclusion (MIDI) website at www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca (Sponsors and
Sponsored Persons section). Complete the required forms and promptly submit them to the MIDI at the
address provided in the provincial guide. Do not submit any of the MIDI forms to this office as they will
only be returned to you.
You must enclose a copy of this correspondence with your undertaking application to MIDI. If you
received this communication via email, you may print a copy to be enclosed with your undertaking
application to MIDI.
For further information regarding provincial requirements, please contact the Province of Québec
General Inquiries Services at 514-864-9191 or 1-877-864-9191."

So my understanding is that I need to print this letter, fill the forms and send everything to MIDI, even if someone told me that I should get request from my Visa office, but I think I will follow the guideline of this letter. Sponsor was approved so it should be enough for MIDI this letter.

What's your thought?

I would say mark Yes and write an explanation that it was a visitors visa and that you applied for PR.

I am pretty sure they can easily check it anyway, but I am not sure how it works with PR application, I think you should be in the system for them to see that you applied.
I think you should call your delivery service and ask why it doesn't show a delivery yet, it's been quite long time.

I didn't heard they need request from VO.. it's better to follow the guideline just be sure that you submit all requested documents.. good luck

I sent my application through Xpresspost with canada post. I called them 5 times and more I think, then I created a ticket no. and I got this email from them:

Thank you for contacting Canada Post about the item identified above.

Our tracking system indicates an 'out for delivery' scan for this item.# Because the addressee is considered a large-volume mail receiver, we consider this scan as confirmation of final delivery. Accordingly, we will now proceed with closing the file.

I sent my application via xpresspost with Canadapost with delivery confirmation and signature but until now I haven't received any confirmation that it has been delivered. Is it the Canadapost that sent you the delivery confirmation or CIC?

That's a good question, I read that AOR doesn't mean that your application won't be resend, but in most cases they usually resend in 4-6 weeks. I would think you are quite safe
