Yeah, I don't even bother checking anymore. When I got my AOR I tried all the different numbers. I guess I thought maybe I could get different info. haha Now I just wait!!! :

And, for science, I'm curious if anyone who has already received their UIC and can access ECAS will be able to look up their application status by receipt# instead of UIC.

My UCI works, but my receipt# doesn't work on the ECAS. Most likely it depends on how the person enter your information into the ECAS.

I am currently working on my papers to apply for new visitors visa to Canada as my old one will expire end of this month. Should I use my old UCI number on my application? Should I mention I have had applied for my PR?

Yes every time you communicate to CIC you have to use the UCI number for reference. You can also mention that you wish to stay with your spouse while waiting for the pending Spousal application. Just make sure you won't violate any regulation in Canada. As a tourist you are not allowed to work.

Of course I have heard the horror stories of items being mislaid etc, but am keen to know if anyone can confirm successful delivery to CPC Mississauga using Canada Post?

(FYI - I sent my application from Australia in late November 2015, via Registered Post, but have heard nothing).

I can't comment on the efficacy of Canada Post; but I wouldn't worry yet. I only my AOR today, with a Nov. 16 delivery date. If you have a late november delivery you shouldn't expect anything for at least another week. Hang in here, we'll get through this

I also don't see you on the November spreadsheet, come join us there (link in my sig)! Its a great way to see what dates CIC are currently processing, and it makes waiting a little easier! I check that sheet multiple times everyday, it's a little game, watching the colors slowly fill in.

Hey everyone, i got aor on Jan 6th, when would be a good time to expect SA? Another question, my perm res status on ecas today was updated to medical results received, thats good, right? what i also wanted to ask was about the police clearance, i got mine on August 31st 2015, will i have to re do it as my app was only received Nov? How long is it good for?
