Great News!!
PPR on July 8th, and submitted via LBC to VFS on July 12th.
Only the primary applicant (my wife) received the PPR email, and unluckily it ended up in the spam folder. By some happy accident my wife checked her spam folder today and noticed the PPR email in there! Even though we found it 4 days late, thank God we found it at all.
Almost done
I got the PPR first. Sent it through VFS June 30. Then until this morning my ecas was still In Process. I received a text around 12 noon from VFS though that my passport was ready for pick up today. Checked ecas again and it's DM already.jr4210 said:Congratulations! Did DM appear in ecas before you got the PPR email or did you receive that email first?
Celebrate. Our LDR days are finally over! Congratulations to us!ortswak said:decision made.. is this a good thing? just 1 week after we sent the passport..we got an email from VFS that passport was already sent back.
passport request was on june 28, 2016.. passport sent on july 6, 2016. and sent back july 14, 2016.

Hang in there brother. Everything will be alright. You'll get DM soon. Praying for you and your wife.crzy_canadian said:Congrats ortswak and acfajardo!
Me and my wife are so nervous for more delays; we have a daughter born in the Philippines, and since she has rights to Canadian citizenship she couldn't be part of the family sponsorship. We applied for proof of Canadian Citizenship, but its an 8 month+ process and we don't have it back yet. The passport request e-mail mentioned nothing in regards to our daughter, so we sent our daughters passport along with an application for a temporary Canadian passport with supporting documents and are praying so hard that they'll issue one so that they can come to Canada as soon as possible.
I thought once we had the PPR our days of worrying would be over, but if anything its even worse now, not knowing how things will work out.
good luck !!crzy_canadian said:Congrats ortswak and acfajardo!
