November 2014 Outland Applications

Hello everyone!

I'm new here as well.....sponsorship was approved on February 11 and transferred to the Hong Kong office. They acknowledged receipt on March 6.
Here's hoping we all get a speedy pass!

My medical exams have not been received at the VO abroad and that's why I haven't got my PPR, according to cic officer.
Can I do something?
I did my meds on Nov 2014. How come they've not received it?

I understand you. It's so frustrating. You should get PPR by now. I think you wait this month and then call or email to VO. According to spreadsheet some Sao Paulo applicants are already landed

Hi All,

I have an update. We were contacted by Immigration.
It seems that immigration is concerned that I will remain in Japan working and not return to Canada once wife is approved for PR.
This is interesting as I have already quit my job and relocated to Canada and wife is in Canada with a visitors visa.
I guess I will have to forward documentation to show that I have already relocated...
Anyone seen this before?

Do you happen to have a copy of the your original e-medical form with the bar code? If you do scan it and email a copy back both to CIC in Mississauga and to your VO and make sure you have your application number usually starts with F000******. Write a letter explaining why you are sending this back and include a copy of the email from the VO stating the meds are not in the system.

hey.. I do have a copy of it. But read what they said:
"We are waiting for the results of your spouse’s medical examination to be transferred into our visa processing system by the office of Migration Health Branch in Ottawa. We have been in recent contact with them and have requested that they do so as soon as possible. Until that is done, we are unable to finalize your spouse’s application."

You may have to wait a couple of weeks as the VO has made the request to have the results sent to them.
The other option is to contact your MP about this since it seems to be the only thing left before finalization.
