We just got another email.
Is this normally requested? I thought all this information was already provided.
I am sponsoring my wife. My daughter was born in Canada and has a Canadian passport.

Fully Completed Appendix A (attached) for you and each of your family members, whether accompanying you to Canada or not.
---- Applicant and any children. This does not refer to brothers or sisters correct?
This form includes location to send visa docs.
And a request for final funds payment. I guess we need to get the final payment made.

Are we getting closer?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I am sponsoring my husband from Srilanka.
I sent my application on 4th Dec and received AOR on 25th Feb. but no SA yet..
I called CIC so many times but no proper answers from any agent. One agent said they processing my file and i will have to wait until end of March and then only i can call back but nothing to worry. Latest reply from the agent is that they doing some external verification... I have no idea what does that means?

When i checked ECAS via my husband's application no it shows medical received also they have updated his home address too. is that normal for everyone?

Your husband is the Principal Applicant/?
When you enter UCI number with Sponsor's information, does it not say decision made?
I'm not sure but it sounds like your app is at VO abroad.
I guess they only update "medical received" when the app is abroad, no? Someone can clean that out?

Yes he is the principal applicant. When i tried with the UCI no its just shows as Application received. If they haven't made the decision yet how they updating applicant's info??

I wish I could help you better in this matter.. I hope someone else can give you more info.
About being processed in Mississauga, it is totally possible as we've seen outland app staying at Mississauga VO.
Maybe try and call again tomorrow and a better officer will answer you properly =D
