CIC had simply left us in a very confusing situation. I insist on calling our Local MPs and finding it out.
I called the call center today but they dont seem to know much about this.

I guess our time is coming at the end of February/march.

just found the root of the problem. someone read it on a chinese website. Nobody's friend got anything.

Hey guys, I'm an October applicant and this rumor about the cap being reached is stressing everyone.

I just called Immigration Canada to ask someone about this. The man told me that since they use EE they cannot check if the cap has been reached anymore, but he also told me that he would be surprised as in December it was far from being reached. He couldn't officially deny this rumor or not though. I guess we just have to wait and see...

Alright, First of all ... Its NOT a rumor.
Another guys called CIC and they told him that they recived a short notice from NS which suggested that all CEC applicantions after Oct 20th will be returned regardless of being charged or not. and Eventually they'll convey this to all the othr CIC agents as well.

I know, it's very frustrationg for me too! my BOWP was dependant on that, I'm on the verge of loosing my job, my status, everything!!
But, we have to strong ! and apply for EE before even that opportunity is missed by us.

I just call to my Immigration lawyer and he told me that
CIC taking time to process b-coz of they are working on Express Entry.

Dear friends... I was just reading the October CEC Applications discussion...

It's quite clear that the CAP has been reached back in October itself... and all of us November and subsequent December applicants are left hanging in the air...

people have shared their returned applications explanation letters from CIC..

This came from a person who's application was received at CIO Sydney on October 23rd, NOC 1223. It was returned to them yesterday. Sorry everyone.
