I also cant view it in ecas...but in that page itself they have told they usually update it on Tuesdays.....
Lets check on wednesday.
also in the email it has mentioned that if we recieve that as email , use the link provided in the email to read the discover canada book.
So does that mean we wont get any hard copy of the this confirmation mail and the discover canada book let...any input?

If you received your AOR as an email, then you will not receive a hard copy of the Discover Canada booklet, you can read it online. However, if you want a hard copy, you can order it from the CIC website at no cost to you. It takes about a week to receive it in the mail if you order the hard copy.

Rajev, I am trying to access Nov applicants google docs to see where people are, and the link is down... Are you or anyone else in our group updating it? Can you re-post new link please?

Thank you!

I am still waiting for a response, my application was received on November 20th, no news yet...

If you look at the spreadsheet, there are a bunch of us whose applications have been received by CIC in the first week of November but we're yet to get our AORs.

There's no method to the madness as people who sent in their application after us have received them. If you call the CIC number, you get a message saying that applications received on or before Nov. 5th are currently being processed. I guess all we can do is wait and we should be getting our AORs soon.

Here's hoping. :)

GOOD NEWS GUYS :D :D
I just got my AOR right now through email and here is my timeline:
Application sent: Nov. 2nd 2014
Application received: Nov. 5th 2014
AOR received: Jan. 26th 2015

Does it mean by receiving the AOR that my application is complete and they won't send it back?

Congrats Buddy....

Congrats! No, AOR means they acknowledge receipt of your application. You're thinking of AIP (approved in principle). But here's hoping they don't send it back of course!
