Hey Zaraben,
sorry to bother you again.
Did you change your application date or just attached the missing copy mentioned?

Hi,

I just added the missing copy and send it back the very next day. I hope I did the right thing!!

Cheers,

Thanks Zaraben,

I would also do the same thing, but for me I could resubmit back in about 5-weeks.

I didnt get u..so did you got your application returned?

Sadly yes.

my son who is 18yrs and 2-months was required a language proof.
and to book for ielts takes a month and another two week for the result.

my son by the way will complete his secondary schooling in Canada by june next year.
we made an explanation letter as advised by CIC by was disregarded by screening officers.

hi 3hm,

Is your son taking IELTS?. I think CELPIP General LS is a way cheaper than IELTS you might want to take that option.

Good luck.

Oh yeah?
I already booked him for IELTS

Thanks for the info.

Hey Folks,

I got my Christmas Gift, my application went into "In Process", I check my Ecas and it is now showing:

We started processing your application on December 21, 2014.

I thinks they are expediting the process. It took my application only 1 month and 2 days to go into "In Process" Mode. I hope everyone gets great news soon. Merry Christmas.

^^
Same here. My eCAS changed to "In process" on December 24, 2014.

I have been reading through this forum and found really helpful information.
By reading through the post I realized that I have made some mistakes in my online calculator like In my trip to back home I stopped in dubai for 4 days and I my calculator I have written this as a seperate trip
also my flight was through US but I didnt mention any US stops as I was in transit and had a connecting flight to Dubai.

Can you guys see this a big mistake which can delay my process?

As long as you have mentioned everything, it should not cause any issues. If you have missing dates, then it might delay the application and officer might ask you for more documentation.
CIC will check CBSA records and will match it will online residence calculator to ensure the entries are correct.
During interview/test you can talk to the citizenship officer and explain the details.

thanks for the reply,The only problem is not mentioning USA when my flight was VIA US as they stamp your passport even when you r in transit. I hope everything goes smoothly

you should have mentioned this into the details that you transited through USA. however, if the in/out dates are correct, it will probably not cause any issues.
You can clear this doubt during interview/test with the CIC officer

This is what it says on residence calculator field:

Note: If you visited more than one country during the same absence, list the first country in 'Destination' and list the other countries in the 'Reason' field.
