I received the OHIP records today. Thanks they were super fast came within a week.
Now after a final review i will be sending the RQ responses .

Great Datascientist. No updates so far. Nothing can be done other than waiting. I haven’t ordered ATIP and I’m not sure if it is a good idea to order at this stage. I plan to call CIC beginning of April if I don’t hear from them. Potentially one of the advantages I believe of ordering ATIP is to get an idea what triggered RQ. I read at some threads similar kind of information. I also read that some applicants were able to find mistakes in the information uploaded by CIC. So imagine that the RQ was due to a mistake in such information… guess what… I will start a thread on this issue and I hope to get a direction from other seniors in this forum.

Would suggest start reading for your citizenship test. The next step for you - if no other actions such as RQ etc will be the test.

Did your status change to "in process" the same day RQ was issued? In other words did you see 2 additional lines on ecas added the same time? One line for "started processing" and one for "sent you a letter" (RQ)?

That's true... The RQ date is the same day they started processing my application ( Jan 26). I don't have any line informing about the RQ.
the forth line is about the file transfer which appeared few weeks later. Anything special in this? do you carry me a good news?

RQ issued by CPC Sydney and file transferred to local office where you will send RQ. Expect 2-4 months additional delay, shouldn't be longer.

do you mean 2-4 months on the overall process? or for the test invite? What makes you sure about that?

Some got test less than a month after RQ was submitted bringing the total processing time equal to or less than routine non-RQ applications.

I noticed this happened with some new applications. Still there are some applications with lots of delays. I really hope that all honest RQed applications won’t take much longer than routine applications. Thanks for your comment. +1 for you … the rest +4 when I’m done.

I had test at Scarborough office today. I took about 10 min to complete test and I left the testing room.
The test result seems to be evaluated immediately because my name was called for interview just 10/15 min later.
Interview was very smooth and I was informed to get ceremony invitation in 4-8 weeks. more like sometimes in June.
It is such as short journey than I expected at the beginning of applying my application.
I hope all of you will have good result and news soon.

A very good article on "The Star" highlighting drop in ctizenship rates. I cannot agree more on this , as we go through this process.
Iam in support for thorough check and fair process, however qualified applicants should not have to be put in a longer queue.
