I am new to this group... my application for pr was received on 17 march 2014.. applied under AINP...Got the file number and medical request on 16 april 2014..medicals updated on 9 may 2014.. got RPRF request on 26 may 2014.. paid the fees on 27 may.. now waiting for the next step... does anyone know how long it would be?

Your application was received on March 17, 2014 and you already got RPRF request on May 26 I think that is a good sign that CIC is working in normal pace. Did they ask for any other schedule A update or Police certificate in that email?

I am Feb applicant and i didn't get any RPRF request in between because i paid all fees with the application. But regardless i think we should all hear from CIC pretty soon. The normal time period from app received to In process is like 6 to 7 months.

It has been different for different people. But I would say that most people get PPR in about 7-8 months after Application Received. I could be wrong.

I was just wondering when did you get IP after they received your courier. You mentioned that they received it on Monday and started processing on Tuesday but when did it updated on Ecas was it on Tuesday(June 24) or on Friday(June 27, 2014) date you posted it on this forum. I am asking because mine was same case. My application was received on Nov 28, 2013. I sent my Schedule A after May 15 email. But I again received another email asking me to send Schedule A. Purolator says they received my courier on June 30, 2014. But there's still no update from there side. Do you think I should contact them.

Did you have gap in your schedule A? What else did they ask you to update before IP?
I am waiting for IP will be 5months from app received date in few days but haven't heard from CIC at all. NO reminder emails nothing. starting to get a bit paranoid here. Help!!!

Yes, the ECAS got updated on 27th june-Friday at 7:00AM PST.
The entry in ECAS said, We started processing your app on 24th June.
Its always like this, ECAS gets updated 3-4 days later than actual processing.
If they recd your courier on June 30th, you may get IP this Friday. July 1st was a holiday for Canada Day.
You should also drop an email to CPP-Ottawa asking about your status update, no harm there. Quote your UCI, name and PNP applicant status..

Yes, they said my spouse's Schedule-A had gaps, so asked for a freshly signed one.
Also, they asked for PCC-originals. I had already sent them PCC on 16th May. I wrote a letter to CIC and sent with Spouse's schedule-A stating the tracking number for original PCC and attached xerox copies of PCC.
They keep on asking cz they think reminding applicants isn't a hassle but we go crazy on the other end. LOL

There was an email I recd on 15th May from CIO-sydney asking for PCC.
I sent PCC after that. My PCC were issues in Nov, last year.
