I did both. I printed a copy of the same page which had the Question 8.(Personal History) and attached it. Also, made a MS Word Appendix Document (with name/dob/UCI as title or header of the page) and signed it with date at the bottom.

I also wrote a letter explaining what I have done to fulfill their request.

I am yet to know if that went well with them.

even CIC is confusing the applicant. I was just going thru it and found few things. for instance on the form 5669 itself, they say that "Attach a separate sheet of paper with further details", point to be noted is that they don't ask u to sign this extra sheet, just ur name, form no. and question number". , so my understanding is MS word document & at another instant CIC says in their application guide: "If you need more space for any section, print out an additional page containing the appropriate section, complete it and submit it along with your application."

i mean which one should an applicant follow. ??? :o.its seriously ambiguous, it should be more clear what CIC actually want to see, bcoz most applicants need extra space..

anyone here who can shed more light on this??

You assume everything went well otherwise they will request for additional information.

It doesn't really matter, as long as you send it. I believe at one point they said to put extra info into word and just on the top to put the form number and your name. They are not that strict as some ppl may think, if you sent your info in anyway they will accept it.

Also, in my email for additional information they didn't say that I can fax it, but I did it anyway and they updated my ecas to IP :).

Mine is nov. 19 2013 also but ecas doesn't change. "Application received" :'(

got ur point. :) ..but thats where the confusion lies. for instance summerr did it the same way (MS word format) without any gaps, but still got the request for another form. I believe it entirely depends on which visa offcer is looking at ur file.

Hey Ken, It is still showing Application recieved! :( What if they have recieved the documents and yet to review other documents before they turn it to In process? Are they sending any confirmation email that they have recieved the additional information? How we could know that?

They never send a confirmation, you just have to wait and see what happens.

Whats going on with rest of november applicants.......
 
I got an email from Sydney office today:
1. They want PCC for myself and my spouse. But I have already sent it. I have emailed CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca reg the same.
2. They have also asked for a fresh Schedule A, section 8 for my spouse as there are gaps per them. I am pretty sure, we sent it. but will fax it once again by EOD today.

Also I got an agent assigned. DJA-Team 1

Finally some hope.

i don't know how they work , like i am dec applicant and my file is already transferred to ottawa for further review ..

so did they email u that ur file is now being transferred to ottawa? & did u get in process on ECAS yet?

no i emailed them about my updated schedule dec. form so i got a revert saying that your file is not in our office it's been transferred to ottawa for further processing
 
:o :o :o :o i dont know why cic is asking to submit schedule A and pcc again ??? it means people didn't submit their docs as per reminder email that we got on 15th may???? or if some people already sent it than why they are asking again nd again? :-X :-X :-X

hmmm...dats really strange..I mean generally when ur file reaches ottawa, ur status turns to IP. dats what I observed atleast for inland applicants. donno how they work ???

its really a mystery ???
