My application changed to IP on April 11, hope to receive DM by the end of next week. You guys should all receive an update soon too

I submitted last Nov. 28, 2013 and got a file number. Still no word though. Hoping towards end of May.

My application is received by Nov8th. Still Application received. It seemed that cic stopped turning people to IP since May 2. I also asked ottawa this week, they said my case is still in Sydney, and hasn't been transferred to them for processing :'(
btw, IP means the case is transferred from sydney to ottawa. So if ottawa says it is in Sydney, then my case is still not IP.

Last friday, I also received that RPRF reminder email. I dont think it is a sign about IP or PPR. Because all November & December & Jan and some March applicants all received that email. I don't think sydney has the ability transfer so many cases to ottaw at the same time :'( :'(
I really wanna know is cic still working??

I have one question guys...are the background,criminality and security checks ran in CIO Sydney or in Ottawa,so when the case comes into proces are those already done,or they are just beginning??? ??? ???
