Did the receive line disappear on E-Cas before or after our LOT?

In my case, i never saw the received line on my e-case. the first time when i checked (2nd week of Jan) i already had in-process there. strange eh?

Just to let you know that February 28, 2014, I received fingerprint request and done electronic fingerprints on March 01, 2014, lets see what's next.

It's hard to say. Halifax has one of the slowest CIC offices. It will be a couple of months til you hear from them again.
I am also in Halifax, and based on some research, CIC Halifax usually takes the maximum waiting time to process applications.

i recieved the booklet and letter 2 days back. When you say maximum time ...whats the number range you are talking about ?
i assume usually u get test date after one year of application submission...is that not correct?
so can i expect test date before nov 2014 ?


Also i got new job two months back should i update them about my new job?

I submitted citizenship application for myself + wife and son (minor). I already received AOR and the book.
I noticed that for myself and my wife they started processing application on 15th Feb but for my son the process started on 1st March.
Just wondering how do they process the applications eventhough all the applications were submitted together.

Any idea?

Hi there

that is normal as the minors do not need a background checks , the good news is you fill will be transferred couple of days after starting processing your sons file

Probably right as in my case processing started for me and my wife but for all children it shows no processing ... that means after backgroud checks i will see processing status for my childern ....
