i applied my CEC back to last Nov. During this time, CIC asked me for 2 times additional doc. One is for my spouse, and one is for my update reference letter & information about my company. The last time i submitted my additional doc is one and half month ago. Does anyone have similar experience like me and give me some advise? I am tired to what so long and no idea when the CIC guy will go over my case again because my previous officer departure on OCT 3rd and i am so nervous that will delay my case again. Please help....

Hi Group,

I received my PPR-COPR. Thank you entire group for providing valuable information and feedback.

I have to do the landing but do not have US visa (I am living in Canada). Is it still appropriate to do the landing by crossing the US border? Does anyone has experience taking appointment at CIC, Toronto? Or let me know which is the best and easiest way to do the landing. All suggestions and feedback are welcome.

Could you also add me to the spreadsheet.

Jim

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can just ask to "flagpole" from US border (no visa needed), search for flagpole in the forum and you'll see how exactly ppl doing that.

hi
Yes you can still land , when you go to the border of US they will reject your entry and they will give you a slip, and you can come back to the CANADIAN border and complete your landing

Same happened to me. Medical done on July and waited until November for PPR. GCMS notes showed all items passed on August but the agent responsible for my case departed too. Landed on November 13th and now waiting for PR card

Did your ecas change say "medicals received" soon after you did your medicals or was it still not updated..? I did my medicals too in july..they still have not updated my profile with medicals received..gcms note says officer departed in july so file transferred..again transferred in october...had paid rprf in july as well..that update is there in gcms...

@ rickyin

I had similar situation. I applied in NOV last year and got married in Dec. I informed CIC in JAN about change of my marital status, but didn't send my wife's documents until June (CIC sent me a final reminder for my wife's document in May and gave 30 days to furnish remaining documents). In the same week CIC also asked for updated reference letter which I sent immediately.

You may see my all other details on left hand side (summary).

Hope you will get your PPR soon.

I was in the same situation i.e no US visa ....... just went to Niagara , Rainbow Bridge ..took the pedestrian pathway to US..... dropped the two 25 cents coins in the coin slot where asked.......went inside US office..told them I am here for flag pole.... they asked for the PP...after checking he gave me the administrative refusal letter...told me to show this to the Canadian immigration officer.....came back to Canada by the same path and completed the process. The whole process took like 45 mins end-to-end.
