We were saying the same thing... Usually after Medical eligibility is passed. Of course there are few cases but the vast majority who receives medicals is supposed to have passed the eligibility.

After Medicals ? Are you saying request or Medicals done ?

You are not saying same thing at all "Of course there are few cases but the vast majority who receives medicals is supposed to have passed the eligibility" That's not true vastly too . Supposedly and Actually ELIG passed in GCMS notes are two different things .

You would have seen people getting MR and RPRF request together , That means ELIG passed for sure . Getting medicals means you are one step closer for ELIG to be passed.

If you want have right you are right. This is what an important lawyer who teaches immigration at University told me. I think he knows what he teaches. But I am not here to contradict you. I am here hoping that every person who applied will receive their permament residence.

Yes. I agree. People who got their medical have passed the eligibility (work experience requirement +language etc.). However, there are other components like security, medical itself and criminality. People will get rejected on those grounds not on the CEC eligibility. When I say CEC eligibility I mean schedule 8 form, that is specific to CEC.

Some body said junior visa officer will issue the MR and following that if he fails to prove his decision to senior then senior will overruled the medical. Are you kidding me? If somebody is issuing the MR then he is authorised to do so and it will be done after the CEC eligibility passed. Would you share the case where medical was requested and then failed based on eligibility (Except medical, criminality and security).

On the other hand, if you are talking about eligibility all together ( CEC+ medical+criminality+security) then its true RPRF means 99% sure not 100%. still they can reject you based on the security and criminality grounds. RPRF make you sure that your medical is passed.

No offence to any one.

Thanks...

Teaching (Theory) + Practical (Implementation ) are two different things , I am too not here to contradict things too.

After getting medicals Request , you are supposed to pass eligibility Please go with that assumption , I don't have any concerns .

I am sharing what I have experienced with myself and others.

No one can tell you here when you will get your passport with visa. Only the officer who works on your file can tell when. If you read the PR approval letter if you have it...it says there that don't make any travel plan to canada unless you have your visa on hand. So just wait, you will have it soon, and you are almost there. ;D

Hi All,

I did landed yesterday evening at Rainbow bridge in Niagara Falls. The process took only approximately 1 hour. They did not ask me any additional documentation (like address/fund proof). It was a very smooth process.

Thank to all the members of this forum. This forum and its members are being great help. Appreciate all your help. I will still hang around on this forum to help other members.

Good luck to all the rest Nov-2014 applicants... :) :) :) :)
Congrats on your PR...
I got my copr today with visa. I'm planning to land tomorrow by taking mega bus from toronto. How did you do your landing? on foot or by car..Do they require any funds to give out at us border?
