I have heard noting other than AOR since Jan.its 11 months form the time i filed.
applied gcms in june and everything is in progress.applied the second one a months back , didn't get gcms yet.
Any suggestions guys !!!what might be been the issue ?

hey! I also applied to GCMS notes back in july, its been almost three months and nothing, I have emailed them twice and got the first time the usual reply, second time (over a mond ago) they said they will raise a flag to prioritize on my case, although nothing really happened.

For the post I've read in this forum, I think we are all on the same boat, we will probably be getting PPRs around December.

Few more applicants from Aug - Sep 2013 got their PPRs yesterday.

I think they are just clearing the backlogs.

Return tracker activated today 3pm :D

I finally got my notes, and as of July 24, they were the following:

Elegibility: Passsed
Criminality: Passed
Medical: In Progress

Does anyone know how can I check if they have received my medicals? where in the notes can I see if the doctor actually uploaded the results?

Thank you very much for the help and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Call CIC..they have the access to information and will be able to tell you about that.

Hi

Not sure why you are confused, they want to schedule an interview with you.

Simply attend the interview and answer their questions.

CIC have the right to interview any applicant.

Thx

Qiyam,

Make sure to read your reference letter and understand your job responsibilities. Most of the times, VISA officer schedule interview if he is not sure if you are performing job responsibilities mentioned in your reference letter.

Also, my tracker got activated today.

Today I got following response from CIC on my application status query.

"Nothing Further is required of you at this time. Your case is currently in queue for final review. Rest assured that we will contact you with further instructions once a final decision has been made on your case "

Does it mean I am close to receive PPR request ??

Yes.. the file has to be approved by a senior officer as part of final review.

Hi all,

I just wondered if you girls and guys could help me?
We received GCMS notes today and on the notes it shows a due date and BF (I'm assuming is brought forward date) of 15th December 2014. I just wondered the significance of this i.e. does this mean that CIC will not touch our file again until that date? or does it mean they will make a decision by that date?

The reason I ask is because the last activity on our file was in July and I wondered why they would leave a file just sitting there for 5 months just for the sake of driving people to the verge of insanity.

Thanks for all your help, & best of luck to everyone still waiting to finish this process.

PS. We are from a Visa exempt country so do not get PPR.

Hi Emeo,

I found this frustrating as well since I'm in the same boat as yours (except that I'm october 2013 applicant).
Once I had the same question as you. So regarding the "Bring Forward", I found this link to the forum discussion really helps me out.

Basically,
BF'D is an acronym for "Bring Forward Date" in the Canadian PR processing system. Usually our file moves from BF'D to BF'D, as it is the day/date next earmarked by our VO to check our file. This actually serves to eliminate unnecessary clogging of the system... that if there is nothing further to add in a particular file, the VO moves to another case file to work on, rather than holding onto the same one.

What happens on a BF'D
In simple terms it is the date that the file will be looked at [again], assessed, reviewed by your case handling officer at the CHC. S/he will check if anything is lacking, any further queries to be made [to you], any documents to be asked or if any decisive action is to be made/taken. Basically it serves as a 'Reminder Tool' to the case processing officer & that your file is not 'forgotten'.

Hope it helps. Cheers!
