Good afternoon everyone,

Just letting you know that i have now completed my landing, did it on Monday September 15th at Pearson.

It was a quick and seamless procedure, took about 15 minutes in total.

Officer asked for my COPR, confirmed my home address and then asked me to sign a document and welcomed me to Canada.

I would like to thank everyone for their advice and well wishes!

Extending many blessings and good luck to everyone for the remaining of their journeys!!

Don't know may be or may not

December PNP applicants got PPR request a hour back.. Any luck for November applicants under CEC class?

I am November 25 applicant and Finally all my family members received MR!!
After long time waiting, i have a question. So if someone could give me any advice I would be very grateful!!
We are expecting a newborn baby within 2 weeks (due date is October 6). Is it better to inform CIC about it at this time or to wait until baby is born..?! And do you know what medical checks needs to be done for kid (8 year old) and for newborn baby?

Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks Axepsy but this does not explain is that why they are still issuing MRs to the CEC aspirants and stopping everyone at 'PPR awaited' stage. Does it indicate a less time intensive juncture and the process from here on has a very quick turnaround? When time comes, they would churn everyone out in a matter of weeks?

I can only speak in my case, but the timeline for completion for me was a matter of days. I am from a visa exempt country so the only step I missed was PPR. After medicals received was posted on ECAS, a period of a week elapsed to Decision made. So I think if all the checks and balances with respect to security health and background are done. The actual CEC eligibility is very simple. So once medicals are received and analyzed by CIC medics (assuming all good) then the rest of the process will turn around quickly. I do also believe they are under a lot of pressure at CIC according my company lawyer who deals with them regularly.

All will happen soon for those in the queue.

best wishes Mut

No that is Secret and if I told you I would have to shred you ;D LOL

Staff lay-off, Staff moves, leave, Pressure to hit the target (which is lower than the desired service level) increased security and background checks and the shift to Express entry I believe are what is contributing. However this is second hand knowledge. I know that a lot more reviews have been put in place (in my own case there were a number of additional reviews in my notes).

It will happen folks hang in there. See you on the snowy side 8)

Guys, Looks like some good news. Some of the Dec 2013 PNP applicants have received their PPR ydy.
