Same here, in my GCMS notes due date is 2014/08/04 and notes were generated on 2014/08/12, so dont think it has any significance.

Any idea what does 'BF Date' (Bring Forward date) mean ? Our BF Date and Due Date both are set to 15th Dec 2014 at different places in notes.

Does anyone know the significance of either dates?

Bring Forward date. Your file will be next reviewed on 15th December and believe me you will get PPR on this date for sure.

what is BF date ?

BF date is the bring forward date, at which the file will be reviewed next.

According to the below link:

The CAIPS/GCMS file will normally have, at minimum, two useful pieces of information:
The bring forward date will tell you when your application will be put on an immigration officer's desk for formal assessment. This is when you will discover if you have been granted an interview waiver. Please note that the bring forward date is not guaranteed and should only be considered as a time frame for an interview or selection decision.

Also I found an old thread in this forum explaining the BF Date in more detail:

you get a time of 60 days for cic to receive it

Can anyone confirm that this time period for passport submission (after receiving PPR) is indeed 60 days. I called CIC and the agent told me that it is usually 30 days but she also was not sure. I even emailed my query but I got a generic response that my application is being processed and that any documents that need to be submitted should be valid for 6 months yadayadayada. I don`t know why I am not able to get a specific time period from CIC. If anyone else has a link from the CIC website or any relevant information concerning this query please post it. I`d really appreciate it.

I think he wants to know the location/place from where you applied your PR.

All the applications would be processed in Ottawa now, thus there is no difference.
