Worst part with CIC is that it is a black box, so much is unpublished/hidden that only u can keep on guessing and drive ur life crazy.
at least they should announce to public if there is any changes why put ppl life in uncertainty ......

2 people in Dec received their stamped passports(some movement though no PPRs)....hope things will move quickly.

If CIC has asked for passport they have to return it back , can not keep for long, but main thing is that no new PPRs are coming, waiting ...........................

I got an e-mail from CIC e-Services Unit in response to my e-mail sent on the 15th August see below for e-mail I received:

Dear Client,

Thank you for contacting the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Call Centre’s e-Services Unit

After review of your file, the responsible office has received the correspondence which you sent on Aug 15 2014. If further information is required, they will be in contact with you.

We hope this information is helpful.

So it looks like eventhough I didn't receive an auto-response when I send the e-mail, immigration still received the e-mail.

I was happy to get any response :)

What was your question?

What was your question?

I just asked if they had received the requested additional documents I submitted in June and July.
I had to submit an updated employment letter in June & RCMP check for my spouse in July.

I couriered the original copies of both and emailed electronic copies also in June and July.

I never got any response whether they had received these documents or not & was worried as I was given deadlines to have the documents submitted by, so on the 15th August I emailed asking for confirmation of receipt of these documents and attached the electronic copies again.
