As advised by a fellow senior , i applied under Information act and paid 5 Dollars , will it create a problem , Its not mentioned anywhere in Online request ( if you are in canada or outside of canada) .

Its NOT free first time or second time or any other time. Each time you order you need to pay five bucks.
But I think that's very nominal and the outcome is very helpful.

I ordered GCMS five times and all the times it was free.....frequency was monthly....the day I got the GCMS another request sent..one of the requests was for physical file in Electronic format...it was like a monthly magazine

I never paid a dime.....

the physical file had no real information except what I sent to CIC and them checking everything with the pen...

Received COPR with visa stamping Yesterday. Sent passports to new delhi on 21st Aug and received them on 30th Aug.

I haven't received RCMP request from CIC, but all my friends who applied in my same timeline were asked for RCMP from CIC. All of them received PR by now but I am still waiting for PPR. Should I also send my RCMP certificate to CIC without being asked for ? Can you guys please advise ?

RCMP is not mandatory for all....if cic needs it they will request it...apply for GCMS notes.

What is ecas status?
If DM or inprocess than you will get ppr in short timr

My Ecas status is "In Process" and says medical results has been received since last one month but no further communication from CIC. I have applied for GCMS notes and scheduled to receive on 8th Sep.
Annoyingly all my friends of October timeline got their PR done and have received PR cards also and I just applied 1 week later on 9th Nov but doesn't see anything happening.

I think if this thread start getting PPR by thursday or friday then it would be a good sign for others.
If not, i dont know how long we would be in this lymbo.

From the past some in our situation got the PPR after 3 months from DM, i dont want that to be the case with us. :

Worst part with CIC is that it is a black box, so much is unpublished/hidden that only u can keep on guessing and drive ur life crazy.
at least they should announce to public if there is any changes why put ppl life in uncertainty ......
